Why is
the patch method better than pills?
A patch uses a transdermal method of delivery, allowing the skin
to absorb the elements within the patch. This can eliminate or
diminish several disadvantages commonly experienced by users of
pills. A transdermal patch delivers medication to the body at
even, consistent levels over several hours. Unlike pills, which
must be taken several times a day, the transdermal patch method
requires only a single application. Best of all, one patch can
provide a consistent dose of medication ranging from 1 day, such
as a nicotine patch, to 7 days, like a birth control patch. Each
TsuNoni patch contains a 2 day supply.

What are
polyphenols and polysaccharides?
Green Tea is the #1 source of polyphenols, chemical compounds
found in fruits and vegetables. These extremely high levels of
polyphenols deliver green tea's unique results in several ways.
Just one example is a subgroup of polyphenols, exclusive to
green tea, called catechins. EGCG, the most abundant and
powerful of green tea's 5 main catechins, is dubbed the 'super
antioxidant' because it is 200 times more powerful than the
popular antioxidant vitamin E. This antioxidant eliminates free
radicals, the unstable molecules in the body that are the major
cause of both aging and disease, which are continually attacking
the body. Unfortunately, polyphenols have a quick life span
(short half life) of about 3 hours, thus the scientific reason
behind researchers' recommendation to drink green tea a minimum
of 8 times a day. Polysaccharides are important compounds that
stimulate and modulate the immune system and its response to
cancer.
Polysaccharides profoundly
influence anti-cancer activity on the molecular level.

Is green
tea better than black tea?
For maximum health benefits it often is. Fresh green tea leaves
contain the highest polyphenol amounts. All teas - black, green
and oolong are from the same plant, Camellia sinensis, and
contain polyphenols. It's the amount of processing each
undergoes that determines the variety of tea and the eventual
polyphenol content.
- Black tea is allowed to dry
slowly, essentially fermenting, which oxidizes the leaves
and deactivates many of the polyphenols.
- Green tea is steamed before
it's dried, which deactivates the enzyme that causes
oxidation and locks in a high polyphenols content - 60
percent more than black tea.
- Oolong tea is dried (oxidized)
some, but not completely, before it is steamed to stop the
oxidation process.

Does
TsuNoni have caffeine?
Yes. Even decaffeinated tea has a very small amount of caffeine.
Green tea has less caffeine than black or oolong tea. The amount
of caffeine depends on how tea is brewed, how long it's brewed,
what part of the tea plant the leaf/bud comes from and the size
of the leaf when brewed. Tea bags usually have smaller leaves or
pieces of leaves and result in more caffeine when brewed. The
TsuNoni Patch contains 63mg of
caffeine in each dose, which is 50-70% less than a cup of
coffee.

What
if the patch is not sticking to my skin?
This problem is usually caused by excessive humidity. In this situation,
do not use moisturizers or other skin care products under the patch. Place
the the patch on your lower back or shoulder blade. If you are a woman,
placing the diet patch on your shoulder blade under your bra strap will
also help.
