| As lips thin, the vermilian border around the lips pull down and cause the wrinkling between the nose and the lips, perpendicular to the lips. This is called peri-oral wrinkling. If you plump up the lips, those wrinkles are essentially smoothed away. As LexLips stimulates the blood flow, the atrophy caused by diminished hormone levels (with age) is offset. | ||||

As Dr. Thompson was developing the formulation that led to Escalate, the research team would test the product on their lips since lip tissue is somewhat similar to female genital tissues.
