It will take approximately 2 Tan Towel towelettes, or 1 Evolution towelette, for a full body application. After application, it takes about 2-3 hours for your tan to appear.  Each box of Tan Towel product is designed to last about 45 days.
 

Depending on your skin color and chemical levels in your skin, your may need repeat the application once or twice to achieve the tan you desire. You can reapply right afterwards or wait until the next day. Your tan will last 5-7 days. When you notice fading, reapply.

Directions

1. For an even application, wipe the wet-wipe towelette over your face and body, unfolding as you go. Continue to rotate the towelette as it dries. The formula dries in seconds.
2. Immediately wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.

• It is best to apply Tan Towel just after bathing while your skin is still somewhat moist.
• Go lightly on areas where color can develop darker, such as your upper lip, hairline, knees, ankles, and elbows.
• When Tan Towel isn't moist, you are not getting tan—replace it with a new one.
• X-Tend is the only recommended product to use right after Tan Towel.  Your tan will stabilize in about 4 hours of application, moisturizer can be applied at this time

How much of my body will each Tan Towel cover?
Each regular size Tan Towel will cover approximately 1/3 to 1/2 of the body, depending on your height and size.  The Evolution towelettes are larger and should cover a full body with one towelette.

How long will my tan last?
Your tan should last approximately 6-7 days, or about the same as a regular suntan.

How tanned will I get with each use?
Each application will gradually darken your skin. One Tan Towel will approximate being in the sun for a couple of hours. After about three applications, it will look as if you were at the beach for a weekend. In short, the more you apply, the darker your tan.

Does Tan Towel contain a sunscreen?
No.  You should continue to wear your regular sunscreen when you go out in the sun.

How long will it take for the Tan Towel solution to dry on my skin?
It takes less than 1 minute for the solution to dry on your skin.  This will allow you to get dressed almost immediately after applying Tan Towel.

Will Tan Towel stain my elbows, knees, or hair?
No.  Since Tan Towel is not a stain, your joints and hair will not streak or stain.

Will Tan Towel stain my clothes?
No.  Tan Towel is not like other sunless tanners. It is not a stain for the skin so it will not stain clothing or bed sheets.
